Pastor's Scooter Fund

Organized by Jeff Noble

Stolen scooter

On the morning of July 4, my family and I were packing our one vehicle for a trip to Little Rock for the weekend. Suddenly, we realized that "Ghost" - our beloved 1998 Honda Elite 80 scooter - was missing from the carport!

After calling several friends to make sure it wasn't a prank, we sadly called the police department to report the theft. Ghost was gone. No more wheels for me. (See the blog entry here.)

We had sold my main vehicle last year to some friends in town after we had determined that we could save money by being a one-car family with a scooter. We had tried it for a month and realized that it was possible.

With soaring gas prices, this was an ideal choice for us since the church where I minister is so close, and our town is small.

With the theft of Ghost and no funds to replace it, we are appealing to your generosity for help. Many, many thanks for whatever you can give to get this pastor back on two wheels.
