UAM Blossoms to Poland

Organized by Journey Church

Goal reached!!!!!!!!
I have amazing news for you this weekend!!! Back in late March, we had what seemed an insurmountable goal for a time when recession has hit so hard... $10,500 to send six UAM softball team members with Journey Church to Poland.

The girls signed up to go with us on faith, and through your prayers, generosity and God's complete faithfulness, we are at $10,462!!! Only $38 shy!

THANK YOU.

Truly.

I know you've gotten tired of these endless Facebook updates, but they were so necessary to keep the need before you all.

Thank you.

We still have money trickling in, and at this point, I'd like to ask that IF YOU HAVEN'T GIVEN, would you please give $5-$10 towards the ministry in Poland? Everything that we raise above our actual, on-the-ground expenses will be given 100% to the Poland missionaries in Krakow that work with the Southern Baptist Convention.

The link for giving is still here:

Again, we are so grateful for you all!!! Thank you for helping us reach this significant milestone - and a week before we leave.

And again, IF YOU HAVEN'T GIVEN, could you please express your generosity by giving a little toward the Poland mission team?

Prairie Grove Baptist Church... thank you!
A letter went out last week to all 40+ churches in our local Southern Baptist Association describing our trip and asking them to prayerfully consider helping support a Blossom player on the trip.

I just got a phone call this morning from the pastor of Prairie Grove Baptist church outside of Warren, Arkansas. They voted last night in their business meeting to "adopt a Blossom." That means they will be sending a $1500 check for the trip!!!

Can you pause this morning to thank the Lord for the generosity of His people? Thank Him for leading Prairie Grove to be so kind. And thank Him that believers in this area see what an important trip this can be to strengthen the work of the missionaries in Poland!
